Nathan 'Nate' Adams

I am a Federal Aviation Administration Part 107 certified Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) pilot, the official way of saying that I can (and do) fly drones professionally. I have flown all sorts of UAS crafts, including cinematic drones, first-person-view (FPV), heavy lift, and surveying drones. My passion for UAS/drones comes from their capability and potential to change the world, from inspections in dangerous locations, unreachable by a person, to filming exciting and dynamic video.

I have also worked as an Associate Communications Manager at Ally Financial, a leading online-only bank and one of the top auto finance companies in the United States. At Ally, I worked with the various business leaders on the automotive side of the company to create proactive media strategies and content, as well as supporting product and agreement announcements. I also provided communications support and media relations at trade shows and sponsored events.

At the Dilenschneider Group, a New York City-based Public Relations and Strategic Communications firm, I worked directly with clients and the Firm’s principals on projects encompassing all elements for the strategic communications process. I created extensive research-based reports on subjects ranging from the public view on the media's credibility to the impact on American business of Chinese leadership changes. I also worked on extensive media analysis encompassing traditional and social media.

Before joining the Dilenschneider Group, I graduated from Framingham State University with a degree in Communications Arts, with a focus on Corporate Communications, and cum laude from Dean College in Franklin, Massachusetts with an Associate’s Degree in Liberal Studies. In addition to his two degrees, I studied Graphic and Industrial Design at the Wentworth Institute of Technology.

Beyond school and work, I have worked as a leader with the Boy Scouts of America (BSA). After achieving the rank of Eagle Scout, I continued my involvement with the BSA as a Merit Badge Counselor, teaching classes of young people about Cinematography. This experience with the Scouts led me to my passion for helping others, regardless of what needs to get done, I am always ready to lend a hand.

When not working, I enjoy many outdoor activities, especially mountain biking, building PCs, experimenting with new tech, and exploring the world around me.
